The Consultants & Independent Contractors SIG is a networking and support group for technical communicators. We discuss the issues and challenges facing consultants and independent contractors in the Bay Area.

Anyone wanting to network with other consultants and contractors, long-time contractors wanting information about professional trends, and writers thinking about contracting who want information on how to get started attend the monthly meetings.

Meetings

This SIG meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 P.M. The current location is Coco’s Family Restaurant at 1209 Oakmead Parkway (off Lawrence Expressway, near 101) in Sunnyvale. This location is close to the McDonalds, Una Mas, and the Digital Guru Bookstore.
