Here is a quick guide to the site. Listed above are menu items for Home (this page), Contact (contacting chapter officers), Jobs (employment listings), Meetings (monthly dinner meeting information) and News (announcements to members).
At the top of the left side are links to the five most recent posts. Below that posts are broken down into Jobs, Meetings and News categories. Located below that are the static web page links.
This center section is where most of the actual content is displayed.
The right side contains the STC Mission statement, a search window, and an Events Calendar.
If you have any other questions click on the Contact link and look there for the email address of the specific officer you wish to contact.

To bring STC’s mission to Silicon Valley through personal contacts and new technology. To expand opportunities for technical communicators.
STC Silicon Valley Chapter LinkedIn Group
STC-SVC has a group on LinkedIn. This group is used along with the web site to advertise upcoming chapter events and other important news to chapter members. Membership group is open to all SVC chapter members.
To join the group:
- Navigate to LinkedIn and sign in. If you don’t have a LinkedIn account, you can get a basic account for free.
- Click the Groups tab and search for STC Silicon Valley Chapter.
- When you find it, set your preferences and click Join this Group.
A group manager will confirm your STC-SVC membership and add you to the group.
